Citrus - Rich in Vitamin C

The plant is acidic and is rich in vitamin C. It is commonly called as Sour Lime. It is a thorny shrub, while the leaves are small with narrow particles. The flowers are whit in colors and the fruits are round in shape.

Medicinal Use

Citrus juice:
  • can give tone to the stomach
  • can expel worms
  • can stimulate appetite
  • can cure abdominal pain
  • it is also good for constipation, for foul breath, fatigue and vomiting
  • can cure scurvy
  • recommended for trembling limbs for aged people
  • chewing the leaves is good for bleeding gums.
